Rahva Raamat
Opus designed and developed a mobile app and online store recognised as Estonia’s best e-commerce solution.
This award-winning solution was created for Rahva Raamat, a bookseller with long-standing traditions. Opus designed the technical framework and developed the e-commerce platform, which lets the company manage its entire online business and sell to retail, business and wholesale customers.
In addition to the modern online store, Opus created a successful mobile app for reading e-books.
Rahva Raamat, the region's largest book retailer and wholesaler, began as one man's dream more than a century ago. In 1912, founder Gustav Pihlakas opened a bookshop in one of the most prominent buildings in central Tallinn, designed by the renowned Finnish architect Eliel Saarinen.
From its modest beginnings, Rahva Raamat has grown into the market leader across the country, with a dozen successful bookshops in seven cities.
