Kaupmees B2B online store
We built a modern B2B online store for Estonia's largest food service supplier, replacing an outdated platform. A Magento 2 backend and a Next.js frontend give thousands of businesses a smooth ordering process.
The challenge
Kaupmees is Estonia's largest supplier to the food service sector, and its previous online store ran on an outdated platform. The store had been built on old technology that no longer met modern expectations for user experience and performance.
What we did
We built a new B2B e-commerce platform from scratch: Magento as the backend for managing the product catalogue, orders and pricing rules, and Next.js as the frontend for a fast, modern user experience.
We built B2B-specific features: company-based user management, credit limit checks in the cart and delivery method choices based on customer data.
The result
The new platform has made the daily ordering process of Kaupmees' business customers much smoother. Customers see their contract prices in real time, can place orders quickly and track the supply chain – all in one environment.
The migration from the old platform to the new one was carried out without interrupting business processes, ensuring a smooth transition for both the Kaupmees team and its business customers.
