eTridens B2C online store

We built a modern B2C online store for one of the longest-established distributors in the Baltics, bringing a wide range of drinks, food and consumer goods straight to the end consumer. A Magento 2 backend and a Next.js frontend deliver a fast shopping experience with secure authentication.

The challenge

eTridens is the consumer retail brand of a Baltic distributor that has been operating since 1988. The range covers both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as food and consumer goods. The previous B2C online store ran on an outdated platform, and the company needed a modern solution that would bring its wide range to private customers with a convenient and fast shopping experience.

What we did

We built a complete B2C online store for eTridens on a Magento 2.4 backend and a Next.js frontend. The solution covers the whole shopping journey: browsing and searching the product catalogue, product detail pages, the cart, a full checkout with address, payment and delivery options, and order history.

We also added support for discount codes, age verification for alcohol products and a separate content management system through which the client manages the home page, campaigns and blog posts on its own.

The result

The new online store is noticeably faster and more user-friendly than the previous solution. The modern Next.js frontend ensures fast page loads and smooth navigation.

Platform

Magento is one of the world's leading e-commerce platforms. It scales with your sales and suits stores with large product ranges.

Technologies

Next.js is a React framework for fast websites, headless online stores and portals that are easy to find in Google.

React is the world's most widely used library for user interfaces, behind fast web apps, portals and self-service environments.
