Opus was asked to develop the user interface for SEB banks’ self-service bureau (internet bank). Being one of the biggest banks in Scandinavia, SEB is among two market leaders in the local market.
Opus was asked to develop the user interface for SEB banks’ self-service bureau (internet bank). Being one of the biggest banks in Scandinavia, SEB is among two market leaders in the local market. Needless to say, changing an existing environment, used by hundreds of thousands of users daily, was a massive challenge. We designed and coded the UI, optimized the workflows and conducted extensive end-user testing before the solution went to development and later, live. The outcome turned out to be a great success, gaining positive recognition by the users.

Hence we developed the user interface for the SEB internet bank. The solution can now be used on a large number of mobile devices. Mobile- ID, a service available in Estonia, makes it especially convenient for the users to authorize and log in, allowing a wide list of services to be offered on the hand-held platforms without any security concerns.

There were many complex features and requirements of the system that made the project very challenging. The outcome, however, is very user-friendly and intuitive despite of the large amounts of data to be handled.

The main challenge was to provide accessibility (WAI standards), also to unify three systems to one entry point for Content Management; and lastly – security.
